The parliamentary group of the ruling party in the Congress of Mexico City expressed its support for the immigration policy of President Claudia Sheinbaum in light of the initial measures announced by United States President Donald Trump, which could generate a crisis at the border. Xóchitl Bravo, coordinator of the ruling party and elected deputy for Tlalpan, called to put aside party differences to create a national unity agreement that addresses Trump's immigration policies and guarantees national sovereignty.

"The president is not alone; we will support her," said Xóchitl Bravo, stating that they will work together and financially support shelters in the capital if necessary to protect the rights of migrants and ensure their safe return. The head of government, Clara Brugada, also backed Sheinbaum's immigration policy and announced measures to support this cause in Mexico City.

In this context, Brugada emphasized the importance of coordination between her administration and federal authorities to support the president in the decisions taken. Deputy Xóchitl Bravo indicated that pertinent actions will be coordinated with Brugada and federal entities dedicated to immigration issues in the coming days to provide support and solidarity from the city.

Various states governed by the ruling party, through a statement led by the governor of Baja California, Marina del Pilar, expressed their readiness and willingness to support immigration measures. In the Palacio de Donceles, the parliamentary groups of Morena, the PT, and the Green Party reaffirmed their support for the immigration policies announced by Claudia Sheinbaum in a press conference, where they highlighted the importance of maintaining unity and solidarity to confront this issue.
